Situated 7kms from Central Stellenbosch and 10 minutes from Stellenbosch District Riding Club, our aim is to make riding and owning horses more affordable and enjoyable. We are based on a wine farm neighboring Spier and Vredenheim wine estates and our focus is on providing a service that ensures happy clients and even happier horses. We believe in keeping horses in as natural an environment as possible while still allowing for committed riding and management.
We offer both live-out and stabled livery in paddocks with good quality, irrigated grazing and shelters. We also have a separate section of the farm used for retired horses, youngsters or happy hackers in bigger paddocks at a discounted rate.
Louise has a SANEF certificate in Horsemastership as well as an Equinology qualification in Equine Nutrition. She has competed in most disciplines but specialises in dressage where she has competed at Medium level and Open show jumping. She uses French Classical Dressage principles as the basis of training both on the ground and under saddle and is very experienced in dealing with youngsters, problem horses and loading issues.
